The mystic drum is sounding
And he singing the song of Nigeria, Africa,
The song of his society,
The drum beat casting a spell
Over man, nature and the around,
Fishes and animals,
The river banks all reverberating with
The beat and echo of the musical sound,
Representing it all exotic flora and fauna
And co-existence with them,
Enchanting with folktale, folk literature,
Folk motif, belief, myth and mysticism,
Folk art and culture and artifacts,
Drawing closer to indigenous things
Primitive and historic.
