The Mystic Ones Poem by Cory Cook

The Mystic Ones

In the depths of the forest, are those that man, does not speak, through rays of sunshine, you may get a peep, for they dance in the light, but hide in the night, far from sight, they are all alike, dark, with the touch of ice, if they win a role of the dice, they could kill you like little mice, yet, dont fear the folk, use the spirit, envoke, second sight, try as you might, try if you like, to see through the trees, as on the deadened leaves, they dance for their god, the sun. A poet once sung, .. of these mystical ones, that danced in the sun, for he had seen, he had been, and danced for the sun, with these mystic ones, deep in the trees, upon the deadened leaves.. C.J.C

Druids come to mind, but your play on words is very intresting, how they just seam out of reach of reality.
