The Negatives Of Saudi Arabian Girls Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

The Negatives Of Saudi Arabian Girls

The negatives,
The photo negatives
Of the Saudi beauties and belles,
Want I to delineate,
A photographer I,
Snapping the photos
But keeping with me
Lest somebody sees it
And censures me.

But I think it,
Can hearts be chained,
Love be barred,
Can the nightingales
Be kept in the cage for long
And the sweet notes barred from
Breaking unto?
Whatever do you,
The singer will sing,
The artist will portray it
A portrait of the artist
As a young man,
As a young woman.
Thank you, I am taking leave of you,
Am going.
