The New World Order? Poem by Denis Martindale

The New World Order offers much, but this comes at a price,
Damnation stretching out to touch, demanding sacrifice.

The darkness stirs, yet what occurs? Must darkness conquer all?
Is this the darkness Man prefers? Then answers to its call?

Rejecting God and Jesus, too, the Cross of Christ and more,
Salvation's truth that billions knew, now chosen to ignore.

A great delusion leads astray, the love for God grows cold,
Though God looks down with great dismay at both the young and old.

Though Christ is called the Prince of Peace, the King of Calvary,
I dread to think what Jesus sees with judgements yet to be.

The New World Order offers much, but this comes at a price,
Forsaking Gospel truth is such a waste of Paradise.
