The Night And The Morn A Wager Made Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

The Night And The Morn A Wager Made

Rating: 5.0

the night and the morn a wager made
as to who had more jewels:

but in the morn
the blinding sun-rays
conquered the shining jewels:

and in the night
the stars of heaven made
the jewels of the night
far brighter shine
than those of day.
