The Night Shadow Poem by Paul Warren

The Night Shadow

I wander the streets all the time
As the tune plays in my head as a ear worm find
Since the car accident seems so long ago
The paramedic said the accident was quite a show

I walked out of the hospital later in the night
As staying in the hospital didn't seem right
Since then I wander around the streets
Trying to put it all together is no mean feat

When your down it seems you are ignored
And the tune keeps playing on with every chord
I don't go home until the morning dew shines
Wandering just passes this endless night time.
