light and darkness.. the sun and the moon.. since the beginning of human culture have been at the core of myths and legends.. they are at the very heart of literature
The concept of light and darkness has always fascinated me. Though sometimes when alone in darkness, I wonder how something so peaceful and soothing could be used to symbolize evil. While I love the light and the knowing and confident feeling it gives me, I can't help but be fascinated by the natural beauty of the dark and how it never fails to sooth the mind and body and keep a person curious at the same time :) Both of these are nature's basic aspects and can't exist without each other. Both are equally beautiful in their own ways.
