The Night Too Has A Beauty Of Its Own - Poem by Shalom Freedman

The night too has a beauty of its own
Walking in a quiet place
I see it darken the mystery
Of all that there is
Deep within the night
I hear its silence
And feel its beauty
But I know too
It answers nothing
And will not save me
Dark dark dark is the world of our dreams
And light the light that we through the night
Dimly see before us
