The Noise Of Doors Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

The Noise Of Doors

The noise of doors
Creaking
The screams of
Windows knocked to and fro
Knockings simultaneous in the house
The solitude of knocking
Suffering of sudden knocks that startle
O! there be a thrill in this startling!
There be a thrill in the knocking
There be a thrill in the creaking
The orgy wild of winds through
The street-width flowing
And
Neighing
Neighing as the Soul desperate
In happy desolation.
