The Note - Poem by john tiong chunghoo

one night on the beach
i chanced upon a bottle
with a little note bearing words so chilly
i thought it should be left
in the bottle and corked
the way they were in the heart of the author
the andaman sea roared, cried to claim the bottle
the little note as dry as it was found

True poetry, John. I feel like I was there, that I was the one who picked up the bottle. Very well done. (Report)Reply
