The Nudge Poem by Boghos Artinian

The Nudge

Every morning I wake up by a nudge
with objects he holds in his mouth;
a rag doll, a mouse or a toy bone.
But strangely today it was a pen.
and I wondered: had my dog seriously meant
that it was high time I wrote something?
