The Old Lady In The Corner Poem by Marilyn Lott

The Old Lady In The Corner

Rating: 5.0

I feel so very bad that I
Do not talk on the phone
And open up the window
So my loved ones can be shown.

I love them and I miss them
Some are so far away
I put it off, you understand
I think I will another day.

It's not that I don't want to
My heart is missing so
My family that I can't see
As so far away I can't go.

But see if you can understand
It is all because of "her"
I do not want to see
The old lady in the corner!
