The Older I Become Poem by Dr. Antony Theodore

The Older I Become

Rating: 5.0

The older I become,
the more it becomes
clear to me,
that I have no time
to put on masks
to cover up my reality.

I have no time for conflicts
and dramas creating stress.

All that I need is a sweet home,
where I feel welcomed always,
good food served at the table
and friends inwhose company
I am always very happy.

I want the holy altar
to lift my praying hands,
to sit in meditation
thinking of my after life
with God and his angels.
