The One That They Call Sam Poem by Samantha Stough

The One That They Call Sam

Nostalgia showed up in my doorway again
She had so many stories to tell
Ones that touched my heart
And ones that gave me hell

Voices ringing in my ears
And blurry visions in my head
Even though it may have done me good,
I still wish I could take back what I have done and said

Take me back
To the day when everything was changed
I want to see what would happen
If my life had never been rearranged

Oh well, I suppose
The past made me who I am
I can't wait to discover what is capable
Of the one that they call Sam
