What You Think Is Best Poem by Samantha Stough

What You Think Is Best

What have we done here?
We prayed for something to pray for
Well, things have repeated again
What shame all the more

Don't worry about fate's intentions
Take the glare from your eyes
Surrounded by silver tongues,
You shouldn't add to the lies

Dance around a theory,
That has a meaning within its mess
It could be this or that,
But stand by what you think is best
