The Ordinance Factory, Retired Personnel, Alcoholism And The Gunmen Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

The Ordinance Factory, Retired Personnel, Alcoholism And The Gunmen

Why do shootings occur,
Why do mind mindlessly,
What the reasons?
Who those gun-masters,
Who have given them guns at least?
What their purpose?
Are they alcoholics or the crazy fellows
Run by some whim and craze
Gone berserk, went on a rampage?
I think both of these must be restricted,
The gun culture and the wine culture.
Think before you shoot,
Think after you shoot.

The movies and blockbusters,
Pop songs and music too enthrall them so much
That they fail to control themselves
As for eat, drink and sing culture,
High romantic voltage,
Bootleggers, fraudsters and gangsters
Talking and smoking and going
Hearing the vice and crime music
And the detectives in full gear
Trying to go after and catch them and hold.
