The Pain-2 Poem by Christian Frakes

The Pain-2

Rating: 2.5

This pain seems to strong to bear
I hide it under this mask I wear
All the fake smiles, and endless lies
As I sit and wait to die.

Do they hear my silent screams?
Will someone please come and rescue me?
I cry even while I dream.
Is anyone hearing me?

In my room I lie awake.
How much more can I take?
I kick and scream, yell and cry.
How much longer ‘till I die?

My heart, broken and shattered upon the floor.
Surely I can't take much more.
Now I lie, numb and still.
Now surely, die I will.
