The Painter Of Dreams Poem by Benjamin Chiu Uy

The Painter Of Dreams

Rating: 5.0

The Painter ofDreams

A brush of strokes created this furnitures of frustrations from the sky

a whorl of patterns
the circles and the curves of a charcoal pencil,

the shades and hues, the uncertain trajectories and lights to create your face,

an angle ofdreams to draw your portrait

the Mona Lisa face and mystique
as i draw a physical body from a raw air of canvass

the human terrains and features will follow,
asthisbrains of brokenhandstravels the backward trails,

To the pieces of broken pottery, broken bodies,

to be your naked lover,

you, who lovesthe art of love
might know this body from the air,

a cold brush of generous fire
from an empty sky

An abandon dream,
From the lost arteries of broken love,
breathing love

to create with a painters hands a painting of an abandoneddream

a Mona Lisa smile, goddess Venus limbs.
becoming you,

A phantoum dream lover for tonight.
A release of vows from the dusts in the air.

This is outstanding! ! ! Your use of words in novel ways is stunning and I applaud the running together of words [it is an effective technique] and your poem is sensual without stepping over the line. 10++++++++++++++++++
