The Paradox Of Beauty Poem by Brayden R. Kennedy

The Paradox Of Beauty

What is beauty in a sense?
Who can declare the standards of beauty?
Is it universal?
Or is it exclusive to a personal point of view?
Just a subjective way for humanity to
Make sense of an existence worth questioning.
I do not know.
What I am aware of however
Is that you are my definition of beauty;
The very pinnacle of God's expert craftiness.
For if you fail to meet the universal scale,
Then I have never seen anything beautiful before.
But alas my dear maiden,
I know that beauty is beyond that of any
Mortal's understanding.
For God is merciful enough to bless
Even the most swineful of his creations
Such as me.
I thank God for you.
