The Park - Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Where can you go to find peace of mind?
Where can you go to relax and unwind?
The park is a wonderful place to find serenity,
Among the birds and squirrels that wander free.

Try sitting on an emerald carpet that is slightly spiky.
Breathing the scent of flowers will sooth most likely.
Children entertain; playing with a Frisbee that is yellow.
Listen to the gurgle of a river; it makes you feel mellow.
