The past cannot break us
although I try my best to keep it hid
From all the twisted memories
of everything you did.
I cannot cover this
I try hard not to believe.
All I can ask is how?
Now I am left here to grieve.
My trust is gone
and you cannot get it back.
You need to tell me
how you could put me through such an act?
But I will not let the past break me.
I will use to to survive.
The mistakes that we make
helps us fight to stay alive.
