The Path - Poem by Aileen Davis

for love and laughter has no master
for pain and sorrow there is no tomorrow,
for you must chose which path you will take
once on that path there will be no turning back,
for the pain is great it call to you tell you that love is not true.
for you must and must alone figure out those unhappy song,
will you let them speak the path you must choose,
or is it all just a mascaraed,
for when the time come for it to end which mask will you have in your hand,
will it be love or will it be sorrow,
then it comes to be then one you must seek,
for only two have untold tells,
for which on is in your hand the pain that you hold or the happiness you let out.
