You lied to me
I trusted you with everything
And in the end
You took everything.

I gave you my world
You gave me nothing
I fought for you
And all you did was destroy my world.

You left me completely broken
I'm still picking up the pieces
How could you give up
On someone who looks at you and reaches.

Maybe I'm better off without
Maybe I should try harder
I need to someone whom I can trust
Who doesn't always need to barter.

I guess it's time to reinvent myself
To truly change my life and my heart
And time to show this broken world
What it's like to mess with someone whose ripped apart.

I'm tired of the tears and all the pain
The deed is done there's no going back
It's time for me to get off the defensive
Now is the time for my attack.

I know I can do it all I gotta do is try
Now there's nothing stopping me
There's nothing in my path but freedom
The chance for me to be nobody but me.
