The Patriot's Sonnet Ii Poem by Raymond Cabrera

The Patriot's Sonnet Ii

Could you feel not the sad teardrops in your hand?
Shed by your people crying for hope and peace,
Do you sense not the suffering of our fatherland?
His chained dreams and desires shall soon cease
In poverty of minds; education that can’t be afford,
Thus hinder the only wish to change the nation,
Of the wounded youth stricken by injustice’s sword
Still but yet their stomach suffers in starvation;
For now the government lusting for such power
Promising the hope in tricks or in such dishonesty
Whose hands tend to corrupt who made us suffer
All in despair bearing in heart the endless agony,
But if war never ends and chaos remained unclear
Then perhaps, the nation I loved shall soon die in fear.
