The Pen Is Mightier Than The Sword Poem by Randy Johnson

My friend was a peace lover and he always tried to make things right.
But he was killed last year when he tried to stop a fight.
When he tried to stop the conflict, one of the men stabbed him through the heart.
He was the nicest man that I've ever met and his death tore me apart.
It traumatized me because I was there.
His last words were 'I'm scared.'
He always believed that the pen is mightier than the sword.
He died while trying to preserve peace and now he's with the Lord.
