The Phantom Poem by Anahit Arustamyan

The Phantom

THE PHANTOM

I was a broken window but you got some glue.
I am a phantom willow for the world's rules.
You made the phantom real with your love's magnitude.
However the phantom is unreal but her love is true.
I am your beloved phantom and your solitude.
I promised you the sweetness of the eastern fruit.
I promised you happiness in the brightest hue.
The world stole my roads and my magic shoes.
I am a phantom rhyme painted blue.
I am your phantom wife in your solitude.
