The Phoenix Poem by R K Summers

The Phoenix

Rating: 4.0

The sky was bleeding
Fires, flames and furnaces
Daughters of the blaze

The note of torment
Singular sonnet of pain
Velvet embraced rage

Not water or wind
Could quench her flames of passion
The Phoenix flies on
