The Pinprick Of Light Poem by Rachel Mac

The Pinprick Of Light

The clouds darken and swirl around,
Depositing rain that soaks the ground.
But with a start the sun breaks free,
Shining its beauty for all to see.

The blackness of evil turns to white,
And shadows sprint from the pure light.
The tears in the earth are replaced,
By smiles that leap onto everyone's face.

Life won't always be good, it'll sometimes be bad.
But it won't always be dreadfully sad.
For in every dark time there is a pinprick of light,
That stands for all that is just and right.
