The Place Of Dreams Poem by Peter Edwards

The Place Of Dreams

Silence shield words,
And soothes my nerves,
Bringing first peace,
Then quietly rising,
Stirring my soul,
Resonating deep within,
The spine of thrills,
The place of dreams,
And visions will,
Throw wide their doors,
To encompass,
And embrace,
Yet like a kiss,
They leave no trace,
Except the sparkle in my eyes.
