The children are happy, as day is here,
There is laughter, everywhere,
But time is not noticed anywhere,
Bringing night, darkness and fear.
Night comes with darkness filling holes,
There are thoughts of gore,
Haunting our dreams are scary ghosts,
That is why night is so loathed.
Night ends dreams of touching new heights,
And scared cowards think they are about to die,
Even brave men need a light,
For such is the plight of night.
What night does to us is a pitiful sight,
Let's not be afraid, let's befriend night.
