The Poem Of The Unborn Poem by kim monton

The Poem Of The Unborn

I am a fetus inside my mother's womb.
Inside, I build a world of my own..
and only me with time that seemed to be endless.

I can't imagine how it will be; what it will be..
outside the world that i am living in.
My eyes are yet to open;
but i could see the wondrous things there to welcome me.
My ears are yet to hear;
but i listened to the faint voices and laughter of the people around.
My clasped hands are yet to hold;
but i can feel the warmth of my mother's caress, my father's touch, and my brother's affection.
My lips are yet to speak; but i can smile.

Though how vague it is.. the world for me,
of such blind thought, of such sweet dream;
that makes me wonder and ponder:
What life will mean to me?
and what will I mean to life?
Nothing yet is certain; but there's just one thing I know.
I am God's gift- the Life, the Love,
and the New Beginning.
