The Poems Have Opened Wide Their Margins Poem by Jenny Kalahar

The Poems Have Opened Wide Their Margins

The poems have opened wide their margins
Stray words falling everywhere messily, beautifully
Because I love you
And fountain pens have leaked
Writing their own poems to our love
Heating our cheeks with the embarrassment
Of being found out

A volcano was dormant but now detonates
In red lava and dangerous rock projectiles
Because I love you
And you love me
And takes no heed of rain falling
Or silly arguments that never last because
I love
And you love
And though a moody raven soars above, shouting warnings
We will tune him out and listen to sweeter calls
From more colorful birds
That are shaped at a distance like hearts
Imagining that it is always and ever springtime
Even when the grass is covered over for this while

All around us as we walk here, arm in arm
I want you only to hear my laughter
And my voice reading poems to you
Shouting over the roar of sun-kissed waterfalls,
Or the scrape of leaf-whipped winds,
Or the familiarity of our dog barking
All noises of joy competing with these words
This poem
Sounding wild and happy and crazy
Because I love you
Because you love me

" And takes no heed of rain falling" the " volcano" takes? I " love" these 5 lines: " And though a moody raven soars.... always and ever springtime" " Or the scrape of leaf-whipped winds" Instead, how does " Or...of wind-whipped leaves" sound to you? I guess you are deliriously in love! bri :)

I regard the spilled ink true artistic photography, also my favourite busy doing. The blue colour is shown at its best. Altogether A dashing photo, Jenny.

Mesmerizing poem. Love is the precious factor but love from both sides make the love more intenser, more loved than ever, non-comparable is love from both sides. I love the topic Love, I love this poem at first sight and at final sight. A most beautiful poem for my eralky Dutch morn, so penetrating. This I regard my huge compliment for thy poem, poetess. Thank you for sharing this Beauty. God's Blessings. A 10 Full Score.
