The Poet Is A Deviant Poem by Not Long Left

The Poet Is A Deviant

When the bowels are infected by a cancer like fear
Pushed into irregular movements by park bench beer
And the eyes choose to see, but do not help defend
Then the chances are you will release and re-offend.
If the poet bathes in waters of deppression and despair
Polluting the audience like a drunk cruiseship compere
Is the reason to expell, to combust to loosen the ear
Or to restrict, to tighten to thrust inwards the spear.
To write words that can change a belief or a thought
Is not a trick, trait, lesson which can ever be taught.
But to write words that further delude us even more
Is to shut up shop, lower shutters and lock the door.
