The Poet Must
The poet must not be caged
But from his view point judged
Neither is it for moon and sun
Nor for jokes and fun
His mind works
Always alert to find words
For sympathy with human cause
His endless zeal should never pause
Neither has he devil’s mind
Nor unreasonable, soft or kind
It flows with normal sufferings
He has only good words for offering
I wish it should happen
Poor must feel happy even
Even with meager income
He must always welcome
My mind blows with gentle air
It brings fragrance to make ideas clear
No dirt of any sort in heart chamber
Love and peace only matters
It may not cut much ice
It may not show any promise
Yet it holds firm ground
The peace and stability is always found
So poets may belong to any land
They have soul to feel till end
It is with the people of universe
No hard feelings with their cheers
