The Poet Stands Upright In His Pants - Poem by Jagannath rao Adukuri
Bukowski’s lady had him off the bottle
He now tries sundaes of different flavors
Now he does not have to listen to Mozart
Shostakovitch and other classical bloke
Through a surreal haze of smeared smoke
He now feels cool like the ice cream people.
Above all he stands upright in his pants.
