The Postmodern Era Poem by Raymond Farrell

The Postmodern Era

It is not illogical
For people, that have realized
Emotions are leading the world astray
To appeal to science
Whose great strength
Is its lack of emotion
But the difficulty
Is that these same people
Wish to dismiss
Other people's emotions, feelings, and beliefs
But insist their own are superior
And must be retained
They attempt to justify their position
By wielding science as a weapon
In their fight
To become the dominant force
In the postmodern era.
