The Potency Of Trust Poem by Frank Adie

The Potency Of Trust

Though the source of my finances may run dry
And I become too broke to pay my rent
I would not bend down my head and cry
I will trust my God, and will not relent.

When the whip of affliction torments me
And life appears to have lost its meaning
I will not doubt that HE cares for me
I will trust my God, and continue praying.

When all hope seems lost
And all human projections have failed
I will be strong, and will believe the most
In HIM who was assailed and nailed.

Though He tarries, He never fails
"He is an ever present help in trouble"
Though his answer seldom slowly sails
It must surely come; for HE is able.
