'Oh! My sweetheart!
The hugs you gave me,
The kisses you planted
On my cheeks and lips,
The smiles you flashed
On your cherry lips,
The glows your eyes harboured,
The words you spoke,
The songs you sang
Are all still with me,
Though you are not with me now
And far away from me,
Still I feel the warmth
Of your hugs,
The wetness of your kisses
Still on my cheeks and lips,
The glows of your smiles
And your eyes
Still I glimpse,
Still your sweet words
Ringing in my ears,
Still your songs
Vibrating so melodiously
In my soul,
Space and time never
Come between you and me,
Never dare to alienate
You from me
Defeated by the power
Of our love'
Pines a young lover
Alienated from his sweetheart,
Recalling his love.
