THE PRESENT A GIFT.
The present, its a gift.
Today is a present,
Today is a gift.
A present and a gift to us all from God the Almighty.
Therefore, lets give thanks lets be T(h) ank-full,
Yea, lets our T(H) ANK be full to overflowing.
Yesterday is called the past,
For its gone with all its troubles, temptations and shame,
Let no one dwell on yesterday, for dwelling on yesterday,
Is sitting on shame.
With heart breaking regrets,
Let no body dwell on yesterdays errors,
Mistakes and short comings,
For its all gone with yesterday,
Gone with the setting sun.
Tomorrow is the future, lets not worry about it,
Let us not be robbed the joy of today, by worrying today,
About tomorrow which may not be,
Let no one get sick, worrying about tomorrow,
For tomorrow is uncertain, we cant even see it,
It is not ours yet, who knows, we might not even see it,
Give us today, this day our daily bread (Garri) ,
Jesus us taught us to pray.
Today is called the present, the now,
The present, a gift to us, today is ours.
God has given us today, as a present as a gift,
So lets enjoy today to its fullness,
Knowing fully well that He told us,
Do not dwell on the past (yesterday) ,
Do not worry about tomorrow or give a thought,
About tomorrow, which may not even come,
Which no mortal have control over.
Behold He said I am doing a new thing,
For you, for me today (present) .
Therefore lets enjoy every moment of today,
Lets make it count in love,
For its a gift to us, a present for us all,
By the craft master Himself, the master planner,
God.
