The President Poem by Randy McClave

The President

He proclaimed he will end the war in Ukraine
But, the bombs still rain,
People are still suffering and dying
And he's still dishonest and lying.
He promised he will lower all of our grocery prices
That's one of his main political vices,
But, now he says the prices he can't lower
When you go into the grocery store.
He says that he will raise all foreign tariffs
On all port of entry's he'll have levy sheriffs,
And here is the sad humor
The tariff will be paid always by the consumer.
He said that we will invade the Panama Canal
As he has no scruples or morale,
He wants to take Greenland and Canada as he does tell
Putin has truly taught and guided him well.
Other lies and broken promises he has made
As if seen on a sin and dictator parade,
And not one promise or vow or oath will he ever keep
But, then he's a wolf a master of his followers the sheep.
Though he is the president elect
Him I did not want or would I ever trust or select,
He is a coward a traitor and a terrible businessman
Bankruptcy and conning has always been his backup plan.
Though he claims to be the president of these United States
An immigrant instead is now in charge of the gates,
Though the White House might not be his resident
Elon Musk is the true commander and president.
