The Prude Poem by Juan Olivarez

The Prude

I guess you can call me a prude.
Cause i'm not vulgar, mean or crude.
I'm old fashioned in my ways,
And dislike people that are rude.

I guess I must be a prude,
I'm not even a tad lewd.
I've loved one woman all my life,
I've lived the best life that I could.

I guess a prude is what I am,
I don't even say hot damn.
I guess they'll bury me this way,
I guess a prude is what I am.
