The Pursuit Of My Soul Poem by Ruerd Visser

The Pursuit Of My Soul

Rating: 5.0

Taken i was with the pursuit of the soul,
like the unbreakable wind on which i set sail,
so i may dance on the waves.
Like the neverending eb and tide of the endless
ocean that is like my life.
Like the steep mountain that rises above the earth
so i may show my splendor.
Untainted like a summer breese that catches my heart
to soar freely without sorrow i am.
To return to my heavenly home,
where i am always welcome.
