The Puzzle Poem by Alexander Romanov

The Puzzle

With the cars rushing by,
I'll play a song, or maybe strum my guitar,
I'll dim the lights just right,
And the city outside will be aglow like a star.
In this unforgiving weather,
Say what you want, and I'll listen,
Tape over your mouth makes it better.

Words need not be spoken,
I know you, my sweet unbroken.
Gentle pliers to your face,
To draw you closer with grace.

Oh dear, can you not see?
I'll end your life with this, believe me.
But my love for you overflows,
In this deadly embrace, that's how it goes.

I won't seek revenge,
Just give me your cheeks, my love to avenge.
You're scared, yet to understand,
The beauty that surpasses all in this land.

With each part, I'll collect joy,
Like a puzzle waiting to deploy.
Piece by piece, I'll recreate anew,
You'll be a prettier, kinder view.

Skin tears with ease,
But it'll grow back, believe, pretty please.
My own, beautiful creation,
With love as my foundation.

I'll end your life this way,
But my love will never stray.
