The Quest Poem by Miss Tee

The Quest

I have searched far and wide
For the meaning I can attribute to this life.
I have asked time and time again
what brings true happiness and fulfillment?
I must admit that I have often been idle in my quest;
Simply waited by my bedside for the wise to shed some light.
Many have been plagued for several lifetimes:
the obvious answer is that no definite answer exists as
No one knows what is right.
The only solution is to ground myself in gratitude
Every day for as long as I live for the little things that brings about joy.
It is so easy to see the negative when emotions are brought upside down.
Forgetting that there were many momenta where the soul was uplifted.
That is the only lesson that I have managed to derive.
The search can be never ending if the question is not right.
