Shivering in the sun
i hugged myself for some warmth
little did it help
i rubbed my hands together
the cracks and creases agreed not
i made a fire
which died away in the sun
angry i looked up at the sun
let me be i shouted
he shrugged in despair
then came the rain
drenching me
gifting me the warmth i yearned
the love i missed
