April showers, bringing life,
washing clean the earth.
Amidst the flowers' blossom,
nature's annual rebirth.
The songbird on his branch,
echoes the song within my heart.
Spring, the season of beginnings,
seems time to think, restart.
As the showers bejewel the grass,
sprinkling diamonds on each leaf.
I find myself awake with life,
full of hope and renewed belief.
Out of my window I sit gazing,
see the Spring rain fall without.
My heart, with sun within it,
ablaze with hope, removed of doubt.
