The Razor Poem by Ben mcelfresh

The Razor

Here i have found peace
One false move and my life ends
It doesn't matter to me anymore
This life has no meaning any longer

I'm at the razor's edge
A place i call home
At any time my life can end
Everyday i push my limits

More scars appear everyday
The pain has no effect
I've grown used to it
The blood all over the floor

The razor running down my wrist
Has become a habit that i can't break
It allows the inside pain to come out
The pain flows free, but leaves behind a crimson stain

My best friend now a blade
Stained with blood from my pain
I now feel free from this world
Tonight I'll make the feeling permanent.
