The Re-Evaluation Poem by Ronald DAgostino

The Re-Evaluation

Rating: 5.0

And during days reoccurring routines I find memories within the notes and keys lyrical memories of nearly every song I hear, of how it felt to have you near. And as night falls the day is done, on the cusp of setting suns the thoughts at play are convincing ones, of how I'm better off without the daunting task-of all the self doubt within these questions I always ask. Myself. Anger coursing through my veins the burden no longer yours to claim, I need a change but refuse to act, remain the same. Patience is not my greatest vertue and know that my actions are not intended to hurt you. I just need some time to readjust, so turn your back to me if you must, I'll search my soul in greater depth and all my self commitments shall be kept.
