The Reigning Of Women Poem by Benjamin Chiu Uy

The Reigning Of Women

The Reigning Of Women

Somewhere in the night,
Her calls were unbearable, unavoidable, her spells,
Finding her right targets,

Before dawn Anthony was with Cleopatra,
before these advents,
The men were with their girlfriends,

As Aphodite as a goddesses for the men,
The girls were issuing these calls,
The girls were waiting in these anterooms,
Sometimes even before i became an admirer,

The dawn of everything started with the will to please your wife
Waiting for her calls,

Waiting for your return,
When everything seems deprivations,
Glooms and malfunctions,

And you waited for her prime validation of your self worths and the needs for her affections,

And being alone was the farthest thoughts inyour mind.
