The Reminder Poem by Tatiana Elliott

The Reminder

'Read my living words and pray;
Yes treasure my words in your heart.
When your desires are found in me,
The world's tricks cannot tear you apart

You say you trust in my name
But are you waiting for he or for me?
For I'm here; arms open and ready
Where do you find your peace?

This life it is so short and foolish
This world a façade full of lies
Come here to me, I'll revive you
Yes kindness is found in my eyes

Put your faith into actions
Once your feet move your heart and mind follow
Taste and see my goodness and mercy
I will teach you to fly, little swallow'
